illustrations, game art, 3D characters, logos and branding… I’m always eager to take up the challenge.
As I see it, the essence of every design is the same:
To tell the story and illustrate the concept.
Because that’s what it’s all about, discovering innovative, creative ways to
make effective and inspiring visual communication.
It’s my job to show a client what needs to be done, but the key is explaining why.
When exploring creative solutions, questions of style, medium, colour, etc. are all dependent on the concept.
There is no design without context.
3D modelling software, graphics editors, vector design programs, are all well and good, but what is vital is telling the story. And in that regard, they’re nothing more than a big pencil, really.
And my pencil is always sharp.
