The test tube<\/strong>\"test-gif-2\"<\/a>Test tubes were the cornerstone\u00a0of the original BioMed\u00a0identity. By simplifying this iconic symbol of Biology,\u00a0a connection to the successful BioMed\u00a0tradition is upheld. Melding the test tube with the B of the logo adds to economy of design, and at the same time encapsulates\u00a0the essence of the company.\"serif<\/a>The original logo successfully utilised a serif typeface. By creating a specially-designed rounded serif, a softer more comforting aesthetic to the overall design is achieved. At the same time, the rounded serif reflects the lip of the test tube.<\/p>\n

A versatile B<\/strong><\/p>\n

The logic behind emphasising the B\u00a0is so it can be\u00a0read as a B for BioMed, or a Beta for Bioiatriki, or Biokliniki, which provides\u00a0flexibility, and introduces\u00a0a compact version of the main logo.<\/p>\n

Colour<\/strong>\"bio<\/a>The dark blue of the original BioMed\u00a0identity signifies\u00a0trust and authority and should\u00a0remain.\u00a0The addition of a silver grey streak injects a modern touch.<\/p>\n

Continuing the circle<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Print\"<\/a>The original branding of BioMed\u00a0uses strong circles. This can be transferred effortlessly to the new logo\u00a0as a base for the \u2018B\u2019 icon of the logo. The circle is complimented by the rounded serif of the typeface, giving\u00a0an\u00a0overall impression of a soft rounded design, which is not only comforting to the eye, but also puts patients at ease.<\/p>\n
